Responsibilities
• Ensure that all company
policies, safety rules and manufacturing policies are followed;
administer counseling or disciplinary action if needed.
• Determine work procedures, proper manning, needed overtime,
assign duties and tasks to work team members to maximize productivity.
• Maintain pre-set standards of good manufacturing processes
and housekeeping standards.
• Develop and maintain strong positive communication and working
relations with all departments to maintain work team goals and
company goals.
• Keep management informed
of developments as they occur.
• Develop and implement
cross training of work team personnel.
• Provide equipment preventive maintenance and if necessary, resolve
equipment maintenance issues.
• Ensure that facilities are properly maintained.

machinist/operator
Wamco is seeking a conventional machinist for our facility
in Fountain Valley, CA. The candidate should have a minimum of 5
years experience with conventional mill and lathe work in the machining
of glass (plastic and metals are a plus). General shop equipments
maintenance background is a plus.
We manufacture low- volume, short lead-time items under ISO standards.
We are looking for a team player with a
positive attitude that is self-motivated and flexible to cross train
on various types of equipment and processes. Excellent written and

Ideal candidate will have a Mechanical
Engineering Bachlors Degree and 5 years minimum work experience.
Requirements:
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills are fundamental
